MEET THE TEAM

General Manager - Daig Allman - Member SCA

Daig is a native of the Gold Coast and has worked in the Strata industry for over ten years, he is a full Practicing Member of Strata Community Australia (Qld) (SCA) and has his Certificate IV in Body Corporate Management. He has experience managing large commercial complexes, high rise apartments and gated residential communities.

Daig has developed a broad knowledge of the legislation and an awareness of best practice procedures. This knowledge assists Committees to implement effective management strategies. He is cognisant of the value of establishing long lasting relationships to create strong community environments through effective communication and meeting deadlines. .

Strata Manager - Lea Cooke

Lea re-joined Sargeant Strata in January 2015 after having spent 3 years with the company from 2005 to 2008 as a personal assistant. Lea has had a varied work life having spent many years in the travel industry including a National Training Manager role for an international travel company. The training role lead to a number of years working with the Australian Institute of Business in Brisbane as a training consultant. Prior to re-joining Sargeant Strata Lea was an Educator for Surf Life Saving Queensland and spent eight years working with varied committees in this capacity.

Lea has completed the Certificate IV in Body Corporate Management qualification and along with her excellent interpersonal skills and time management strength has proven to be a hard working and positive Strata Manager. Lea takes the time to offer the personal touch to Committee members and owners who are sometime overwhelmed by the legislation and documentation associated with managing a Strata scheme.

Strata Manager - Matthew Samuels

Matthew has recently moved from Sydney to Sargeant Strata and brings with him close to two year's experience as a Strata Manager. Matthew has completed a certificate of registration in Strata Management from the Australian College of Professionals. Prior to this Matthew has obtained a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University as well as a full real estate licence from the Real Estate Institute of Queensland.

Matthew has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage buildings of different sizes and has a reputation as being a dedicated and committed Strata Manager showing maturity beyond his years.

Strata Manager - Ellen Wright

Ellen started at Sargeant Strata in early 2015. In this time she has progressed by taking on various rolls throughout the office. Ellen has recently been promoted to take on the Commercial portfolio as she has shown initiative for furthering herself in this field.

Ellen has been enrolled to undertake a Certificate IV – Body Corporate Management qualification starting in early 2016. Ellen has broad skills and experience across a wide range of business areas including secretarial, compliance and insurance.
